In 2012, the Decrow family purchased 16 acres in the White Rock area of North Gorham. We are pleased to try our hands at "getting back to basics". Our dream is to have a successful fruit orchard for homemade jams, large garden for canning and preserving and to perfect our maple syrup operation.

Collecting - Week 1
The nights have been so brutally cold (below zero) and the days barely getting above the teens, that we just haven't collected much sap at all. We are a little nervous that we may have tapped a little too late or that we just are not going to have a maple syrup season this year. Forecast for the up coming week is not giving us much hope that things will change in the near future but honestly the weather reports now a days rarely stay the same in a 24 hour period so we could see an improvement in the weather any day. Total collected as of today is 20 gallons.
